Something is rotten at my usual powdercoater. Frames (as those of you who follow the waitlist have noticed) are taking 6+ weeks to get done - and are often back for re-shoots 2 or even 3 times.
It's not clear to me what's going on, since they've been reasonably reliable in the past. C'est la vie. I've given them many, many chances and they have expressed no particular interest in getting things done faster or better.
So I'm breaking in a new powdercoater. My hope is that this will resolve both the wait time and re-shoot problems, but like any new endeavor, nothing is for sure. My apologies to everyone who has been patiently waiting for their frames.
